Description We are seeking a Controller to join our team in Seattle, Washington. The successful candidate will provide leadership in the finance and accounting sector. The role involves maintaining all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems, ensuring compliance with accounting principles, and monitoring financial health. This role offers an exciting opportunity for those with expertise in finance and accounting.Responsibilities: Oversee and manage all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems, ensuring they are in line with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) Support coordination and communication between the accounting team and other internal teams Ensure internal control and safeguards for receipt of revenue, costs, program budgets, and actual expenditures Conduct audits to monitor financial health and prepare documentation for external reviews and audits Coordinate and prepare submittal requirements certifications and audits Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and submit tax filings Collaborate with the leadership team to ensure maintenance of appropriate business-related insurance policies Manage and track the performance of invested assets in accordance with policies and investment guidelines Use CRM and Crystal Reports to process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently Demonstrate leadership skills by overseeing the accounts payable and receivable, auditing, and budget processes.The salary range for this position is $115,000 to $155,000 + bonus.Benefits:Medical/DentalLife and AD& DLTD401k and profit sharing15 days PTO13 paid holidaysRequirements Demonstrable experience with CRM and Crystal Reports Proficiency in accounting functions including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Prior experience in auditing and budget processes Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Accrual Accounting Proven leadership skills and ability to manage a team Experience in internal control and handling investments Knowledge of general business and financial principles Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field Professional certification (e.g., CPA) is a plus Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information Strong problem-solving abilities Proficient in MS Office Suite and other relevant software.
