We are a small dental office which specializes in education, treatment and care of patients with obstructive sleep apnea.
We are also committed to providing our patients with complete and comprehensive dental care in a comfortable and professional environment. We accelerate healthier communities by empowering patients to know their sleep apnea status and understand their treatment options. We aim to improve the quality and longevity of life by evaluating, educating and treating to decrease or eliminate complications relating to OSA.
Our ideal candidate: needs to know nothing about OSA! We are looking for an advocate for our patients, who leans into their empathy and is detailed oriented to track and manage multiple patients, who might be in different times of treatment.

Job Duties & Expectations:
1. Ensure all systems in the office runs without issues (Make sure the partnership office staff is happy with our services, communication and agreements.
2. Educate OSA to all patients. (Training will be provided so that one has a better understanding and can speak with confidence as to what OSA is, the multiples ways there are to treat it, and why it needs to be treated.)
3. Obtain all prior authorization and patient ID for Insurance, should patient be an insurance patient. (The expectation is for the Sleep Liaison to inform patient that Prior-Auth can take time (The process is seeking “prior-authorization” for a patient.) Typically, prior-auth can be approved within 24-48 hours, but systematically it can take anywhere from 7-14 business days.
4. Provide assistance to the dental assistant in front and back office when needed.
5. Dispense and track HSTs with all proper paperwork. (Our EMR tracking tool is provided online. Expectation is to remain compliant with all paperwork.)
6. Fill out a Fee ticket (Super Bill) with co-morbidities for doctor's office. (This can and will be taught in on-boarding and training.)
7. Assist in provider's note templates for each patient seen and prepare for doctor signature.
8. Assist in “Results” visit and be able to educate on treatment options.
9. Make appropriate referrals.
10. Follow up and track patient progress to make sure they made it to treatment visit.
11. Keep up with supplies and equipment at all times and submit supply needs to Operations Manager
12. At the end of the workday, report stats.
13. Update office on opportunities and celebrate successes.
