Private Caregiver Needed

We are in need of a compassionate, reliable and experienced caregiver for our elderly mother who has recently been diagnosed with early stages of dementia. She is pretty healthy overall, although she is recovering (tired and weak) from recent hospital stays.
Assistance required with, but not limited to, the following:
Personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming)
Medication reminders
Light housekeeping & laundry
Meal preparation
Companionship & emotional support
Seasonal projects and daily activities
She was living independently previously, so she has shown some reluctance to following a schedule. We would need someone who is patient yet strong, caring and empathetic.
We are looking for daily care from approximately 11:00AM to 4:00PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends possible. There are cats on the premises; house is located on a large lot, with lots of trees and we see raccoons daily and often deer.
Starting salary $22/hr, negotiable based on experience. Must pass drug screening and background check.
