Job Responsibilities:
Warranty Punchlists: Addressing small drywall patches, texture and paint touchups, and adjusting hardware and doors to ensure everything meets our high standards.
Finish Phase Detailing: Performing detailed tasks such as drywall patches, paint touchups, and testing cabinets to guarantee all drawers are secure. You'll also manage Trello lists to track completion.
Jobsite Maintenance: From scrapping out and sweeping to rough cleaning and vacuuming, you'll maintain cleanliness and organization throughout different project phases.
Yard Maintenance: This includes setting up watering systems for plants and grass during the summer, and using equipment like electric blowers and lawnmowers to keep our homes' exteriors pristine.
Rental Property Move Outs: Tasks here involve spackling, painting, and adjusting hardware and doors as part of our rental property turnover process.
Key Job Duties:
-Perform drywall patches, paint and texture application, and caulk touchups.
-Complete general labor tasks such as scrapping out, sweeping, and vacuuming.
-Install door hardware, hang mirrors, and adjust cabinet doors and drawers.
-Manage timely pickup and drop-off of materials and equipment.
-Maintain yards and outdoor spaces as required.
Requirements:
-Reliable transportation and basic hand tools
-Clean driving record
-Minimum of 3 years of applicable work experience
-Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs)
-Capability to perform physical tasks for extended periods
-Familiarity with construction tools and equipment
-Understanding of safety procedures and guidelines
-Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
-Ability to work in various weather conditions
-Flexibility to work overtime or weekends if needed
-Ability to work well within a team
-Good communication skills
-Strong work ethic and punctuality
-Basic proficiency with technology for tracking work and reporting issues
-Ability to identify and troubleshoot basic issues on the job site
Compensation: Competitive hourly rates ranging from $28 to $32 per hour, dependent on experience and skills.
