Janitorial Lead – Tacoma, WA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5:00 PM–12:00 AM
Hours: 30 hours per week minimum
Pay Range: $20–$25 per hour (DOE)
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Janitorial Lead to oversee evening operations in the Tacoma area. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and hands-on experience supporting both staff and customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and support janitorial team members.
Conduct site inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
Manage daily reporting, email communication, and documentation.
Assist with payroll and account budget tracking.
Provide new hire training and ongoing coaching.
Resolve staff or site-related conflicts professionally.
Provide staffing support as needed, including covering call-outs, vacations, and position vacancies.
Experience & Requirements:
Minimum 2+ years of janitorial lead or supervisory experience (healthcare experience preferred but not a must).
Must pass a background check.
Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable personal vehicle.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
Comfortable working with common cleaning products.
Must live within a reasonable commuting distance to Tacoma, WA.
Basic computer skills and strong communication abilities.
