Position Overview

The Warehouse Associate plays a key role in ensuring the accurate, safe, and efficient handling of freight within our warehouse and yard operations. This position supports both inbound and outbound shipments, assists drivers, and helps maintain the organization of our storage areas to meet customer and safety standards. Focus of this role will primarily be on Parker products (100+ skus) and battery kitting.

Key Responsibilities

Load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment.

Receive, inspect, and document inbound freight—verifying quantities, part numbers, and condition against bills of lading or packing slips.

Stage, wrap, and prepare outbound shipments for delivery or pickup.

Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness in accordance with company 5S/Lean standards.

Support crossdock, pick & pack, kitting, and other value-added services as required.

Communicate with warehouse lead, drivers, and customer service to ensure smooth freight flow.

Perform daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns immediately.

Safely handle and store hazardous materials (HAZMAT), ensuring compliance with DOT and OSHA standards.

Participate in inventory counts and maintain accurate warehouse records.

Uphold all safety policies and wear required PPE at all times.

Qualifications

1+ year of warehouse or freight-handling experience (manufacturing or 3PL experience a plus).

Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).

Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Team-oriented with good communication and problem-solving skills.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.

Experience with HAZMAT or WMS/TMS systems a plus.

Must hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
