Swift Plumbing & Heating, a local (Kingston, WA), second generation, family owned company is seeking a warehouse helper to join our team.

Position: Plumbing Warehouse Helper

Location: Kingston, Washington

Hours: 6:30AM - 3:00 PM (with a half-hour unpaid lunch)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Plumbing Warehouse Helper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting our plumbing operations by pulling parts for plumbers, receiving and checking in materials from suppliers, delivering parts to job sites, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse. The role also includes loading and unloading materials using a forklift and managing the tool inventory.

Key Responsibilities:

Pulling Parts: Gather and prepare parts and materials needed for plumbing jobs.

Receiving Parts: Receive and verify shipments from suppliers, ensuring accuracy and quality.

Checking In Materials: Record and organize incoming materials and supplies.

Delivering Parts: Transport parts and materials to various job sites as needed.

Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, including sweeping, organizing shelves, and disposing of trash.

Forklift Operation: Safely operate a forklift to load and unload materials.

Tool Inventory: Keep track of and manage the inventory of tools and equipment.

Safety Compliance: Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

Must have a clean driving record.

Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.

Previous warehouse or plumbing experience is a plus.

Forklift experience is preferred but not required.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to lift heavy materials and work in a physically demanding environment.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
