Quality Assurance Technician

Primary Job Duties:

Dimensional Inspections of production parts

Assist in handling and managing nonconforming product

Assist in training of Quality System Procedures

Inspect incoming materials per the purchase order requirements

Ensure that all incoming materials are clearly identified

Enter receipt data into the software system

Ensure quality procedures are used correctly, so that products adhere to requirements

Assist in the maintenance of the Calibration System

Brief the Quality Manager on supplier related issues

Assist in the maintenance of the Approved Supplier System

Assist in offloading incoming materials

Qualifications:

Understanding of inventory, manufacturing, shipping, and receiving processes

Experience working within a warehouse production team

Drive for quality assurance and continuous improvement

Analytical and research driven (identify issues, research solutions, make decisions)

Professional, detail-oriented, and organized

Experience using MS Word and Excel

Experience using Precision Measuring Equipment (Calipers, Micrometers, Height Gauges, etc.)

Experience working with Drawings and Formal Design Criteria

Experience operating forklifts
