Together we are empowered to make an even greater impact on the health and well-being of our communities.ResponsibilitiesVirginia Mason Franciscan Health, Center for Cardiovascular Health (https://www.vmfh.org/our-services/center-for-cardiovascular-health) , in Silverdale, Washington invites applications for a full-time non-invasive Cardiologist at the state-of-the-art St. Michael Medical Center (https://www.vmfh.org/our-hospitals/st-michael-medical-center) in Silverdale, Washington.This position offers an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team recognized for excellence in patient care and clinical outcomes for patients throughout the Puget Sound, Kitsap Peninsula and Olympic Peninsula. Physicians are attracted to the area because of the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest and great year-round outdoor activities.An ideal candidate would have strong skills in non-invasive imaging including echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography, nuclear imaging, and optionally cardiac CT. Recent fellowship graduates are encouraged to apply.There are a total of fourteen Cardiologists and thirteen advanced practice practitioners; four interventional cardiologists, a structural cardiologist, three electrophysiologists, an advanced cardiac imager specializing in cardiac MRI, and an advanced heart failure cardiologist. This cardiovascular service line has been recognized by the American Heart Association with multiple gold and platinum awards. The American Thoracic Surgeons has awarded our cardiac surgeons with multiple 3 star awards over the history of the program. The hospital has some of the highest PCI volumes in the state and is a leader in the state for quality and outcomes. There is a robust structural heart program with TAVR and left atrial appendage occlusion. The local service line is complemented with two cardiothoracic surgeons, four cardiac anesthesiologists, three vascular surgeons, and thoracic surgery. Furthermore, our service line extends across a 11 hospital system with three tertiary centers, and is home to the Virginia Mason Franciscan Cardiovascular Fellowship program.Requirements include:
Medical Degree
Active Washington State Medical License in good standing prior to start date.
Board Certified in Cardiology or Board Eligible and will become Board Certified within 2 years (ABIM)
Active DEA in good standing with no restrictions
