Essential Accounting Administrative Assistant/Sales Support Responsibilities:

- Greeting clients and handling inquiries with professionalism.

- Greeting customers and handling inquiries with professionalism.

- Perform general clerical duties, including filing, data entry, and document preparation.

- Learn and quickly identify building materials sold at the store.

- Generate accurate invoices and material returns to customers.

- Post incoming customer payments promptly and accurately.

- Prepare daily deposits of cash and/or check deposits to bank.

- Collaborate with Credit Manager to resolve billing disputes.

- Prepare and maintain petty cash records for Credit Manager and Accounting Manager.

- Check incoming material pack slips and purchase orders for accuracy and post receipts in computer daily.

- Process supplier material returns promptly

- Proofread documents for accuracy and clarity before distribution

- Support office management by organizing supplies and ensuring a tidy workspace.

- Assist in logging information for required reports for the Accounting Department

- Assist salesman by entering in orders and answering incoming phone calls.

- Other duties as assigned.

The job will require full-time work Monday-Friday. We are looking for someone that is computer savvy, with a great personality that enjoys and takes pride in their work. At least 2-years previous Accounting experience is strongly preferred. This position has future growth within the company for someone determined and willing to learn.
