Position Overview:
We are seeking a Lead Installer with experience in custom countertop installation and fabrication. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of stone and countertop materials, along with leadership experience to manage and guide a crew to successful, on-time installations. This is a hands-on role where you will oversee the entire installation process, ensuring quality and precision while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of installers to complete custom countertop installations on time and to customer specifications.
Oversee the fabrication and preparation of countertops, ensuring all materials are cut and finished to precise measurements.
Install a variety of countertops, including granite, quartz, and marble, in both residential and commercial settings.
Ensure all installations are completed with a high degree of craftsmanship and attention to detail.
Coordinate with project managers, clients, and suppliers to ensure smooth workflows and timely project completion.
Delegate tasks to crew members, providing guidance and support throughout the installation process.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site at all times.
Troubleshoot and solve problems that arise during the installation process, ensuring quick and efficient solutions.
Uphold the company's standards for quality and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in custom countertop installation (minimum 3-5 years).
Some fabrication knowledge and experience with cutting and finishing stone countertops.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to delegate tasks effectively and maintain a positive work environment.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project specifications.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
Compensation & Benefits:
