Our client is urgently seeking experienced aircraft avionics technicians to join their team in Bridgewater, VA!Job DescriptionAvionics Technicians are responsible for installation, troubleshooting and repair, and maintenance of electronic systems. This includes basic soldering and harness build-up, fault isolation and repair, wire stripping and crimping.
Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and perform both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in a high-quality and efficient manner.
Troubleshoot and test instruments, components, and assemblies using various tools such as circuit testers, oscilloscopes, voltmeters, etc.
Inspect, maintain, and install electronic systems, such as navigational systems, radar technology, radio communication systems, flight control tools, and other avionics systems.
Perform operational/functional checks on aircraft electrical systems and equipment.
Install, route, upgrade, and repair wire harnesses.
Install avionics equipment per engineering drawings while following wiring standards.
Work SiteThis is a fully on-site position in Bridgewater, Virginia in an MRO repair station environment. The company has several heavy maintenance and modification projects.
