Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Office Assistant in Madison, Wisconsin, United States. The selected candidate will be a part of our Real Estate & Property industry team. The Office Assistant will be responsible for various administrative tasks, including managing customer inquiries, scheduling maintenance requests, and assisting with other office functions.Responsibilities: Handle incoming calls and provide excellent customer service to clients and residents. Check and respond to property emails in a timely and professional manner. Schedule maintenance requests and coordinate with the necessary departments for timely resolution. Greet residents and visitors, providing a welcoming and professional environment. Handle income changes from tenants and update the records accordingly. Use Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, and Word to manage and organize office functions. Perform clerical duties and correspondence as necessary. Utilize computer skills to maintain accurate customer credit records. Assist with billing functions and ensure accurate processing of customer credit applications. Occasionally travel to nearby properties for posting notices, utilizing personal transportation. Requirements Minimum of 1 year of experience in an office setting, preferably within the Real Estate & Property industry Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook Demonstrable knowledge of office functions and billing procedures Capable of performing clerical duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning etc. Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues Experience in managing correspondence via mail or email Strong computer skills, including the ability to learn new software and systems quickly Basic office skills such as organizing, multitasking, and prioritizing work Familiarity with the software 'About Time' is a plus High level of accuracy and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
