HR Generalist

Description We are working with a client who is seeking an interim HR Generalist to support our team based in Paynesville, Minnesota. As an HR Generalist, you will play a crucial role in various human resources functions, including recruitment, onboarding, attendance management, and employee relations. This position is onsite and offers a contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: Conducting recruitment activities such as interviewing and selection Overseeing the onboarding process and presenting benefits overviews to new hires Scheduling and ensuring completion of necessary drug screens and background checks Assisting in the resolution of first-level employee complaints and investigations under the guidance of Corporate HR Conducting stay and exit interviews to gather employee feedback Managing employee attendance records and timecards Working closely with supervisors to provide guidance on employee relations Serving as a point of contact for employees and handling their inquiries Assisting in the management of union grievances, ensuring no actions are taken without oversight from Corporate HR Utilizing UKG and Microsoft Office Suite for various HR functionsRequirements Minimum of 3 years of experience in a HR Generalist role or similar Demonstrable experience in Benefit Functions Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Proven ability to manage Employee Relations Experience in handling Onboarding processes Experience in conducting Employee Relations Investigations Solid understanding of Attendance management Experience in a manufacturing environment and handling Union Grievances a plusRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
