Tindle Construction has an immediate need to hire a dedicated and experienced superintendent to oversee construction project at Novelis in Bay Minette, AL. In this position, you will coordinate and manage all on-site activities and work with Project Managers, Field Personnel and other office departments to deliver successful projects to owners on time and on budget with the desired level of quality.
Superintendent duties include, but are not limited to
1. Ensure all required materials, equipment, and inspections occur to support the project schedule.
2. Responsible for site safety. Ensure the overall safety of the job site for workers and visitors and manage compliance with established company safety policies.
3. Understand, review, and manage project plans, specifications and manufacturer's data and execute project based upon said documentation.
4. Generate RFI's (Request for Information) as required to ensure completeness of the project documents and identifying and clarifying any discrepancies.
5. Conduct preconstruction planning with Project Manager.
6. Manage subcontractors for all work performed on-site.
7. Management and Supervision of work crews on-site including mentor and train field personnel, Manage the overall safety of the project and ensure all personnel have resources to perform their work safely, Work with the project team to maintain relationships with owners, visitors, subcontractors and suppliers, Manage site work and logistics of the construction site, Scheduling and Quality Control.
Qualifications:
1. Experience in construction management.
2. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as active listening.
4. Excellent time management skills with the ability to delegate tasks.
5. Experience with Metal Stud Framing and Drywall.

Starting pay will be $30.00 an hour and $100.00 per day per diem while working on this Novelis project.
