We are a growing Law Firm looking to expand our team. We pride ourselves on providing compassionate and effective legal support to injured workers. We are currently seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) Legal Assistant with experience in workers’ compensation to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
-Assist attorneys in managing workers’ compensation cases from intake to resolution
-File documents and manage cases through the Electronic Adjudication Management System (EAMS)
-Coordinate and schedule medical treatment for clients
-Communicate with clients, insurance adjusters, and medical providers
-Maintain organized case files and track deadlines
-Prepare legal correspondence and forms related to claims
Qualifications:
-Minimum 1 year of experience handling workers’ compensation cases
-Proficiency in EAMS filing and familiarity with the claims process
-Fluent in both English and Spanish (written and verbal)
-Strong organizational and communication skills
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team
-Experience with legal case management software is a plus
