This role will be based in Mountain View or San Francisco Bay Area. We are looking for a Manager to join our Corporate FP&A team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to drive key new operational initiatives. They will be responsible for creating and executing a vision for the Headcount COE. Key Responsibilities:

Hire and manage a team of analysts and contractors to oversee operational headcount management.

Create processes and drive new ideas to improve overall headcount management and reporting.

Enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of headcount management within our Center of Excellence (COE).

Ensure accurate and timely headcount forecasting and reporting.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align headcount planning with business goals and objectives.

Monitor and analyze headcount data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

Provide leadership and direction to the COE team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.

Work with functional and business area FP&A teams to oversee Workday metrics and be the first line of defense in headcount questions and forecasting.

Create first pass forecasts and review with business area FP&A teams.

Develop and update Headcount reporting and key metrics.

Partner with various teams to streamline forecasting, reporting and Workday maintenance.

Build and maintain headcount driven expense dashboard, including vendor spend level summary and key metrics and ratios.

Evaluate and update all Corporate owned and automated calculations in the financial system EPM.

Prepare ad-hoc financial analysis as needed to support decision-making

Basic Qualifications:  

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent work experience

6+ years of post-graduate experience in finance, forecasting, reporting, or related functions

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree in business, Accounting, Finance, or related field

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities to tackle complex issues.

Proficiency in data analysis and visualization, including knowledge of tools like Excel, SQL, PowerBI, Tableau, Python, R, or similar.

Strong commercial awareness and ability to generate insights from data.

Ability to synthesize and present complex financial and operational issues clearly.

Proven ability to partner, build trust, and influence senior executives.

Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate across groups.

Ability to operate in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment.

Propensity to learn, identify opportunities for improvement, and question assumptions.

Ownership mindset with the ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines

Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific office location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
