Adecco is assisting a client recruiting for a Remote Benefits Specialist . Here is your chance to be creative in finding solutions in this temp to hire opportunity. This is a great job for an organized individual.The Benefits Specialist is responsible for administering a comprehensive range of employee benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and disability. This role ensures that all benefits administration complies with applicable laws and company policies.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

First point of contact for employee inquiries

Assist with leave of absence and ADA inquiries

Assist in system testing of benefit process improvements and new plan setup

Respond to Unemployment claims with appropriate documentation

Complete Unemployment Wage Audits

Process medical support orders

Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

Qualifications:

Knowledge of benefit program design including medical, prescription, dental, vision, life, STD and LTD

Working knowledge of benefit administration, unemployment laws, processing of unemployment claims, compliance and related reporting including COBRA, FMLA, ACA and HIPPA

Bi-lingual in English/Spanish

1 - 2 years prior benefit or HR administration experience preferred

Workday, Kronos, Equifax experience preferred but not required (will be trained)
