Description We are partnering with a leading healthcare non-profit near Downtown San Diego that is seeking an experienced Grant Accountant. This role is essential for ensuring proper management and reporting of grant funding. Candidates must have prior experience in grant accounting, ideally within a non-profit or healthcare environment. The position is contract or contract-to-hire, with the opportunity for permanent placement.Key Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of grant accounting, including budgeting, reporting, and compliance with funding requirements.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for grant activities.
Monitor grant expenditures to ensure alignment with funding guidelines.
Collaborate with program managers to track and report grant deliverables.
Assist with audits and ensure compliance with regulatory and funder requirements.
Requirements
