Description Jeff Abrams with Robert Half is in search of a Fund Controller to join our team based in San Francisco, California. In this role, you will be involved heavily in handling financial matters related to real estate investments and other properties. This involves processing customer applications, maintaining customer records, and performing functions that ensure the smooth running of our financial operations.Responsibilities: Analyze and review monthly operating reports for real estate investments and other assigned properties, focusing on ensuring optimal profitability and cash flow. Coordinate and implement annual operating budgets and business plans, collaborating with the accounting team to predict income, cash flow, and other financial elements. Prepare, review, and modify quarterly reports to investors and consultants, including full financial statements and other financial performance information. Maintain cash distribution and preferred return waterfalls for Fund and joint-venture owned investments. Prepare and evaluate a variety of Fund level and property level performance returns, discussing performance with the CFO and other executive team members. Interface with external auditors and tax return preparers, handling all phases of the annual financial audit, including coordination of audit work papers. Assist in calculating cash distributions to investors and maintain waterfall calculations for the Fund and various joint venture investments. Liaise with third-party property management personnel who oversee the day-to-day operations of each property. Perform controller functions for closing of property acquisitions and dispositions, including assisting in financial due diligence.
