STEAM4Kidz, LLC (Art Explorers/Terrific Scientific) provides ART After School Enrichment Classes for ELEMENTARY AGE students (Kindergarten-6th grade) in local schools and our studio between the hours of 1:30-5:30pm. This is a part-time afternoon position: instructors teach up to 7 classes per week, M-F afternoons (1-2 classes per day). Must be able to teach a minimum of 3 afternoons per week between the hours of 1:30-5:30 pm. $62.50 per class taught. We provide paid training in our curriculum, and methodology.
Do you have experience teaching kids VISUAL ARTs? Do you draw, paint, or sculpt? If you do AND love working with kids, we want to meet you!
REQUIREMENTS:
Live IN SANTA BARBARA area to be considered.
Up to date with COVID vaccination & boosters; and show vaccination card.
Have experience teaching children in group setting or classroom.
Have at least one year of college.
Applicant needs strong communication skills, sense of humor and positive attitude, be energetic, enthusiastic, patient, organized and have experience managing groups of children. Our classes are portable and taught weekly in local schools and our studio. Instructors take all lesson materials with them to teach classes. REQUIRES car, cell phone, and computer.
