Zircon Corporation, the global leader in consumer electronic hardware tools since 1975, is looking for an energetic, organized Senior Accounts Payable & Payroll Accountant to join its finance team to provide precision and expertise to its accounting department.

This position is Full-Time, In House, and No Remote.
The ideal candidate must have excellent accounting skills, be a highly motivated analytical thinker, have excellent oral and written communication skills, work independently, and be able to understand and treat complex transactions.
Essential Functions:
Prepare vouchers for inputting into JD Edwards system
Prepare weekly check runs
Verify invoices and match to purchase orders
Maintain accuracy of payables
Maintain close relationships with vendors
Process payroll
Keep and maintain current employee records
Monitor the Flex spending account with the bank
Monitor and revise unemployment claims, documentation, and legal review
Enroll and update employees for medical, dental and vision plans
Ability to work well with others is very important.
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business, or a combination of degree and experience
3 years relevant accounting and/or auditing experience
Basic knowledge of JD Edwards system, Excel, and other Office software
Preferred Education and Experience:
5 years experience preferred
CPA preferred
