We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant for a part-time, on-site position located in Fremont, CA. This is an entry-level opportunity for a motivated individual looking to grow within the dental field. The ideal candidate will start as a floater between clinical assisting and front desk support, working closely with our established team. You’ll gain valuable hands-on experience in both areas, with plenty of opportunities to expand your role and develop your skills.

Responsibilities

- Assist the dentist during procedures and provide clinical support.

- Prepare exam rooms for procedures, ensuring they are clean, organized, and well-stocked.

- Follow strict sterilization and infection control protocols to maintain a safe, hygienic environment.

- Support front desk operations by assisting with patient check-in, scheduling, and maintaining accurate records.

- Provide quality patient care by educating patients on oral hygiene and assisting with questions about treatment plans.

- Collaborate with the team: Work alongside both clinical and administrative staff to ensure smooth operations and continuous learning.

Qualifications

- Entry-Level Position: No prior experience required, but basic dental knowledge is a plus and a willingness to learn is essential.

- Proficiency or interest in dental care: An eagerness to learn about dental assisting and office operations is key.

- Understanding of sterilization and infection control protocols: A basic understanding of these practices is important, or a willingness to be trained.

- Strong communication skills: Ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and team members.

- Team-oriented: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative setting, with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Preferred: CPR, Dental Radiology certifications

- Preferred: Fluency in a second language is a plus and can be beneficial for patient communication.
