We are seeking a reliable, experienced home health attendant (female or male) to assist our 92 year-old mother at night. This a “sleep shift”.
The client is generally pleasant, alert and has dementia. She gets confused at night and needs someone nearby in case she wakes up and needs reassurance/ re-orientation/ fall prevention and, (rarely) cleaning.
Client lives with family and their small dogs and cat.
During the day, She is able to sit up in a wheelchair but needs assistance transferring to and from bed.
She is partially incontinent of bowel and bladder; has very poor safety awareness, particularly in the evening/at night.
Opportunities for additional hours anticipated.
