I have a part-time position for a paralegal.
My practice is primarily indigent criminal defense. I also do some civil rights work.
The number of hours and scheduling are flexible. However, the position is in-person in downtown Oakland, and that is not negotiable.
The main things I need are organizing discovery and writing client letters. I do not require any prior legal experience, but I do need strong writing skills. Experience in community, labor or Left organizing is a plus. Candidates with prior history are welcome.
