Position Summary
We are looking for someone who is reliable, has a good work ethic and knows how to follow directions. As an Excavator Operator you must be proficient at moving dirt, digging trenches, grading, set elevations and keep track of and turn in field paperwork. Applicants will need to show they have experience. All applicants MUST submit their resume.
Key Responsibilities
Operate excavators of various sizes for general engineering and civil works
Carry out trenching, detailed digging, backfilling, compacting, and service installation support
Work around utilities, tight spaces, and active worksites with precision
Complete daily machinery checks
Maintain high safety standards and CAL OSHA compliant.
Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and site crews
Requirements
Minimum 5+ years of excavator operating experience within general engineering or civil construction
Proven ability to perform detailed excavation and work around existing services
Strong understanding of safety protocols and hazard management
Ability to follow instructions
Reliable transport required
