Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Journeyman Plumber to install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances, in residential and commercial settings.
Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements.
Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues, providing effective solutions.
Ensure all work is performed according to local plumbing codes and safety regulations.
Collaborate with apprentices and other team members to complete projects efficiently.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and hours logged.
Communicate effectively with clients to explain work performed and answer questions.
Assist in training apprentices and less experienced plumbers as needed.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of experience as a plumber.
Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and techniques.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to lift heavy materials, work in confined spaces, and perform physically demanding
tasks.
Reliable transportation and a clean driving record.
