Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse for our office to join our healthcare team. This person will be in charge of working on hospicemd, QAing nursing notes, working closely with the pharmacy and the owner of the hospice. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care and support in an office setting by utilizing their expertise and patient assessment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Provide urgent care services in emergency situations
- Document patient information accurately in medical records
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Monitor and manage infectious disease care protocols
Experience:
The successful candidate should possess the following skills:
- Computer savvy & basic computer/office skills
- Proficiency in medical terminology and documentation
- Ability to perform patient assessments effectively
- Knowledge of infectious disease prevention and control measures
