We are a full service certified public accounting firm seeking an experienced Mid to Senior Level Staff Accountant. Would prefer an individual with an active CPA license with strong financial skills. Three to five years of successive public accounting experience preferred. Experience with CCH ProSystem Engagement, Lacerte Tax software and QuickBooks would be a plus.

Areas of taxation in which we provide expertise and consultation to our client banks, bank holding companies and key executives and stockholders include consolidated tax issues, mergers and acquisitions, estates and trusts, deferred compensation, and tax planning.

Responsibilities:

Participate in client engagements from the beginning to completion - including planning, executing, interacting with the client, and completing tax projects.

Prepare and or review of individual, business, and fiduciary tax returns and projections in accordance with firm and professional standards as directed - including federal, foreign, state and local tax returns, estimated payments and extensions

Tax research and consultation Research tax related issues and other related financial reports

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting

3 + years of public accounting experience with emphasizes in Taxation

Strong communication, client service and organizational skills

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office & Adobe Acrobat

Ability to juggle many projects simultaneously

Experience with Lacerte and CCH ProSystem Engagement software is a plus

High level of organization, focus, exceptional attention to detail and strong follow-up skills
