Job Description - Staff Accountant:
1. Prepare and perform reconciliation for monthly bookkeeping and journal entries independently
2. Assist with preparation of financial statements
3. Prepare payroll, sales tax, and the related informational return filings
4. Miscellaneous tasks as assigned
Experience
Prior experience in public accounting firm
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
Ability to use Microsoft productivity software such as Excel and Word
Experience with and solid knowledge in Xero, QuickBooks (online and desktop), and Thomson Reuters products
Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational ability
Effective corporate communications skills
