Laser Operator
Job Responsibilities:
Ability to read and understand part drawings and specifications.
Knowledge of 5S and continuous improvement projects
Work to improve the efficiency and accuracy of methods and procedures which would improve product quality throughout product realization.
Monitors and drives quality measures and implements continuous improvement efforts.
Strong background, knowledge, and understanding of metal fabrication.
Proficient in various conventional Trumpf sheet metal shop equipment such as CNC Laser and Press Brakes.
Ensures the consistent use of safety devices and personal protective equipment (PPE).
Responsible for departmental housekeeping.
Ensure nonconforming products are identified and segregated to prevent their introduction into the product stream.
Attention to detail and excellent organizational, problem solving, and multi-tasking skills.
Report inspection results in written or printed format. Interacts with interested parties to ensure all results are understood and acted upon as necessary.
Provide support to engineering and management on special projects.
Other duties as assigned.

Strong computer skills in the use of Trutops and Microsoft Office Software.
Starting Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 an hour
