Prospector Gastropub, located in the heart of Breckenridge, Colorado, is seeking an experienced and motivated Head Chef / Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary operations. Responsibilities:

Develop and execute creative, seasonally inspired menus that align with the restaurant’s concept and standards.

Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring consistency, quality, and efficiency in food preparation and service.

Hire, train, and manage kitchen staff, fostering a positive, professional, and results-driven work environment.

Manage food purchasing, inventory, and vendor relationships to maintain quality and control costs.

Monitor food and labor costs to achieve financial targets and maintain profitability.

Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.

Collaborate with ownership and management to continually enhance the guest experience and operational success.

Qualifications:

A passion for culinary creativity and a commitment to excellence in every detail.

Experience as a Head Chef, Executive Sous Chef, or Kitchen Manager.

Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to train and motivate staff.

Proven ability to manage food and labor costs effectively.

Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.

ServSafe or equivalent certification.
