Accounts Payable Specialist

Description Senior Accounts Payable Specialist Washington, D.C. area hybrid $80k, great benefits, 401(k), growing company! My client is a law firm located in downtown Washington, D.C. with a need for a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist. The Senior Accounts Payable Specialist will report to the Director of AP and be responsible for processing high volume vendors payable invoices and employee expense reports. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic Accounts Payable professional and candidates with professional services or law firm experience are highly encouraged to apply. The Sr. AP Specialist will be responsible for the following duties:· Set up new vendors in accordance with company policy· Process fully cycle invoices, including employee expense reports· Responsible for ensuring the accuracy of accounts payable files· Responsible for ensuring all invoices and expense reports are posted to the correct general ledger account · Ensure appropriate processing and/or allocation of expenses. · Match, batch, coding of invoices and ensure timely processing of ACHS and check paymentsAll interested candidates in Senior Accounts Payable Specialist and other opportunity and other full-time accounting opportunities in the Washington, D.C. area please send your resume to Justin Decker via LinkedIn.
