POSITION PURPOSE

An HBW Services Electrician is integral to the company's Services Division. The Electrician is responsible for troubleshooting and completing electrical maintenance, installation and repairs.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES

Installs, maintains and repairs electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.

Reads and interprets technical diagrams and blueprints.

Performs general electrical maintenance.

Inspects transformers, circuit breakers and other electrical components.

Troubleshoots electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.

Follows National Electrical Code state and local building regulations.

Low and high volt wiring.

Provides outstanding customer service while overseeing and completing electrical work.

Serves as an HBW advocate and ambassador in every interaction with coworkers, customers and public.

Complies with all HBW regulations and rules and adheres to all safety standards.

Performs any other tasks assigned to support and improve the overall Building Services Division.

QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Excellent organization, communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize assignments.

Able to handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently and work under pressure to meet required deadlines.

Independent self-starter and good listener who can discern required steps to achieve goals without specific task direction.

Able to read and understand electrical drawings.

Knowledge of electrical theory and electrical code requirements.

Able to sit, handle or operate objects, tools or controls and reach with hands and arms. May be required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl. Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Possesses a valid CDL driver's license.

Maintains a professional appearance and demeanor.

Thrives in a friendly, fast-paced, team-oriented environment where accountability, work ethic and a "can do" attitude is a necessity.

4+ years' experience in wiring installations, troubleshooting, and repairing.

High school diploma or GED required.
