Résumés are being accepted for Maintenance Technician for a busy historic private club in the Washington DC area.
Qualified Maintenance technician candidate must possess well rounded experience. Minimum of 3-5 years of technical experience (HVAC / Electrical / Plumbing / Equipment repairs and carpentry)
Along with excellent customer service skills and a great positive attitude, our candidate must possess a High School diploma or GED and a trade school diploma is preferred. Certification in any of the designated disciplines is preferred. Hospitality-Boutique Hotel Experience is strongly desired. OR Building – Condominium experience.
Brief job duties include:
1. Performs routine maintenance on mechanical equipments and systems in all areas of operation.
2. Maintains accurate maintenance and repair records of equipment and machinery.
3. Repairing doors, windows, walls, paint, tiling, electrical-mechanical and HVAC equipment.
4. Performs routine preventative maintenance to ensure and extend the life of company assets.
5. Will diagnose and determine causes of mechanical systems errors and determine the correct course of action.
6. Keeps the maintenance work shop area clean, safe, and organized.
7. Responds to emergencies promptly and effectively.
8. Maintains supplies and parts inventory.
9. Assists Director of House Operations on any special projects or assignment.
Range of pay $25-$35 per hour Depending on Experience- Certifications -Abilities.
Requires full time flexible schedule, which may include nights, weekends, on call and holidays. Raise and review after 90 days, based on performance.
