This is a SHARED TIP role which significantly adds to your base pay. Previous experience hand stretching dough, cooking pizza on a traditional deck oven and kitchen prep work is REQUIRED.
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pizza Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have pizza experience in a kitchen environment, particularly within the food service industry, and possess a strong understanding of food safety practices. As a Pizza Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality pizzas and ensuring that all pizzas meet our standards for taste and presentation. This role requires attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
Prepare pizza ingredients daily, including dough stretching, sauce prep, slicing meats, and chopping vegetables
Follow portioning and recipe standards to ensure quality and consistency across all pies
Maintain a clean and organized prep station in compliance with food safety guidelines
Assist with setting up and breaking down the pizza prep line before and after service
Restock low supplies and communicate inventory needs to management
Support pizza chefs during peak hours by prepping and handing off ingredients quickly and accurately
Take direction well and work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented kitchen

Qualifications
Previous experience cooking pizza on a traditional deck oven is REQUIRED.
Previous experience in a kitchen or food service role is preferred; experience specifically as a cook or dietary aide is a plus.
Possess oven handling skills, particularly in pizza preparation and cooking methods.
Familiarity with food safety standards and practices is essential.
Ability to use kitchen tools effectively, including knives and other cooking equipment.
Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a busy environment.
Excellent time management skills to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
