Primary Purpose: Assist Teacher and Assessment Specialist in implementing the program’s curriculum for caregivers and keiki.
Essential Duties:
Interact with caregivers and keiki, model routines and behaviors that encourage growth and learning. Engage caregiver as keiki’s first teacher through modeling;
Track and record participant attendance at site;
Record data in database;
Create and prepare activities for the program.
Other Duties: Other duties as assigned.
Work Hours:
Monday through Friday, up to 19 hours per week, hours of operation varied from site to site and determined by the supervisor;
Position requires regular and predictable attendance;
Some events on evenings or weekends at various times.
Working Conditions:
Work outdoor at locations such as community centers, schools, churches, meeting, and professional development sites;
Office setting;
Travel in a program vehicle to and from program sites.
Equipment Use: Company vehicle, computer and/or laptop, printer, scanner, copier, fax machine, office and/or work cell phone/Bluetooth, paper cutter, name tag maker, platform dolly.
Minimum Qualification Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required;
Early Childhood Education or related coursework and/or experience working with children preferred;
Must have a valid driver's license, a safe and responsible driving record,
