The Salvation Army Family Treatment Service (FTS), a treatment facility in Kaimuki, is seeking to fill a full-time Residential Counselor position. Under the direct supervision of the Residential Clinical Supervisor, the Residential Counselor provides clients with individual and group counseling, skill building and alcohol/drug education classes, and case management for residents. Develops and implements residential program activities and provide supervision of residents
Master degree in a behavioral health discipline or CSAC (Hawaii State Certified Substance Abuse Counselor), preferred. Two years of specific training and experience working with persons in substance abuse treatment services required. Non-CSAC must be willing to work toward attaining CSAC. Valid Hawaii State driver license required.
