As we continue to grow and open new stores around the country, we are always looking for foodies with a passion for protein to join our team.We are seeking an Asset Protection Leader that will manage inventory control, mitigate theft, cash shortages, fraud, and security. You will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment.This is a role that will require frequent travel, up to 50%.Essential Tasks and Responsibilities:Maintaining a Safe & Secure Environment

Promote a safety-first culture for all team members and customers by conducting regular store audits, supporting the proper utilization of safety incentive awards, and joining in safety celebrations for accident-free months.

Drive achievement of accident reduction goals for General Liability and Workers Compensation for stores.

Conduct regular Asset Protection safety audits for compliance of all accident and critical incident preventative standards and programs.

Participate regularly in store conference calls to bring greater awareness to safety initiatives and emergency/crisis response procedures.

Execute effective crisis management and incident response, coach and train store leadership and associates on accident investigation findings, areas of opportunity, and future prevention techniques.

Investigate all accident and incident reports to effectively construct a action plan to mitigate any risk and accident/incident prevention.

Provide physical security expertise and ensure proper functionality of store-based security technologies including alarms and cameras.

Regularly evaluate building integrity and partner with store management to follow up on any equipment failure.

Train store leadership and associates, as well as Operations and Human Resources, on current Asset Protection initiatives and programs such as shoplifting training and external theft prevention.

Promote awareness campaigns on shortage and safety control measures; regularly participate in key store meetings and recognition program activities.

Educate and train employees to ensure all safety and security processes and procedures are followed.

Mitigating Theft, Cash Shortages Fraud and Security

Aggressively identify, investigate, and resolve all internal and external theft and fraud, striving to minimize the impact of loss to the company and address new types of theft and fraud.

Maximize utilization of all available merchandise protection tools and resources (alarm equipment, Cameras) to address loss in the company.

Ensure consistent execution of all processes and controls to proactively combat external loss.

Leverage exception and store reporting systems to identify theft activity (including cash shortage) in all stores.

Cash Handling Management Process: Perform cash audits and deposit investigations to fully account for store cash and mitigate any cash discrepancies.

Visit stores and MFC to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and conduct necessary audits.

Detect and identify potential shrink opportunities within our operational core compliance.

Build and maintain store and MFC partnership through management meetings & huddles, coach and mentor colleagues regarding loss prevention policies and procedures.

Maintain appropriate confidentiality thorough internal investigations; partner with leadership and Human Resources to address associate behavior and take corrective actions.

Maintain accurate records and reports of all identified theft activity and related follow up; communicate reporting as necessary.

Drive store/MFC-level awareness of theft and fraud techniques as well as prevention tools/resources to mitigate future impact and loss.

Plan and execute all Asset Protection requirements for new store openings, remodels, and expansion.

Educate and train employees to ensure all safety and security processes and procedures are followed.

Manage Inventory Control

Manage and audit cycle count and full inventory schedule in accordance with AP guidelines and company compliance (Execution, reconciliation, reporting)

Review and serve as subject matter expert in inventory reconciliation and post results towards business financials.

Achieve shortage reduction goals for the company and Identify shortage risks through regular review of indicator reports.

Utilize daily reports and cycle processes to locate and resolve inventory discrepancies.

Maintain and report inventory accuracy within company guidelines and company expectations.

Ensure Inbound/Outbound Audits are conducted (Inspect Cold Chain, Packaging and Case Integrity/Security, Truck Security Seals, Receiving/Inventory Accuracy, Label Accuracy, BBD)

Research inventory discrepancies, because of associate errors, to provide feedback to the business.

Analyze, Investigate and report Shrink and Non-conform (non-sellable product).

Audit DIF (Destroy in Field)

Audit product storage to ensure accuracy, product handling, BBD (FEFO) and product integrity.

Educate and train employees to ensure that inventory and quality errors that affect the inventory integrity are minimized.

Ensure all Asset Protection processes and controls are conducted consistently and objectively, with a focus on continuous improvement through partnership and training.

Communicate and partner with supply chain about current stock and potential inventory related issues.

Assist with other duties as requested by the Head of Asset ProtectionPhysical Demands and Work Environment:

Work in a cold environment with temperatures ranging from 0 degrees Fahrenheit and below

Lift and move items up to 50 pounds

Regularly bend, lift, stretch and reach both below the waist and above the head

This position may require working nights and weekends based on business needs.

Up to 50% travel to conduct audits and develop store relationships

Qualifications:

Associate's or Bachelor’s degree preferred

5-10 years of asset protection or inventory control experience preferred

Excellent communication skills

Strong Microsoft Office skills

Knowledge of SAP, Qlik, EWM, CCTV, and alarm systems preferred

Knowledge of exception reporting preferred

Strong cognitive skills, including problem analyzing

Excellent organizational and planning skills
