Primary Responsibilities:

1. Customer Acquisition: Proactively identify and engage potential customers seeking replacement windows and doors. Utilize various channels, including cold calling, referrals, and leads, to generate new business opportunities.

2. Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of the replacement windows and doors offered by Window Man. Stay updated on industry trends, features, and benefits to effectively communicate the value proposition to potential customers.

3. Needs Assessment: Conduct thorough needs assessments for customers by actively listening to their requirements, understanding their preferences, and evaluating their existing windows and doors. Tailor product recommendations to address specific customer needs.

4. Sales Presentations: Deliver compelling sales presentations that highlight the advantages of Window Man’s replacement windows, siding, and doors. Effectively communicate product features, energy efficiency, and any additional benefits to showcase the superior quality of offerings.

5. Quotations and Proposals: Prepare accurate and detailed quotations and proposals based on customer requirements. Clearly outline pricing, warranties, and any relevant terms to facilitate a transparent and straightforward sales process.

6. Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with clients throughout the sales process. Provide ongoing support, answer inquiries, and address concerns promptly to build trust and enhance customer satisfaction.

7. Sales Targets: Meet and exceed established sales targets and quotas. Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve individual and team sales goals.

8. Market Research: Stay informed about market trends, competitor offerings, and industry developments. Use this information to position the company's products effectively and identify new business opportunities.

9. Collaboration with Team: Work collaboratively with the installation and customer support teams to ensure a seamless transition from sales to installation. Provide accurate information and documentation to facilitate efficient order processing.

10. Sales Reporting: Maintain detailed and accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and deal progress. Submit regular reports to the sales manager, detailing achievements, challenges, and potential opportunities.

11. Continuous Training: Stay current with industry best practices and attend training sessions provided by the company. Continuously enhance product knowledge and sales skills to improve performance.

12. Customer Satisfaction: Strive to achieve and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. Collect feedback, address concerns, and ensure a positive customer experience throughout the sales cycle.

By fulfilling these primary responsibilities, the Sales Representative will contribute significantly to the growth and success of Window Man.

Proven Sales Experience: A minimum of 5 years of successful sales experience, preferably in the home improvement or construction industry.

Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of replacement windows and doors, as well as familiarity with industry trends, materials, and energy efficiency standards.

Customer-Centric Approach: Demonstrated ability to prioritize customer satisfaction, with a track record of building and maintaining positive relationships.

Effective Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, coupled with the ability to articulate technical details in a clear and persuasive manner.

Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities to navigate and close deals, while ensuring the best outcome for both the customer and the company.

Goal-Oriented: Proven experience in meeting and exceeding sales targets and quotas, showcasing a results-driven and motivated approach.

Adaptability: Ability to adapt to a dynamic and changing sales environment, with flexibility to accommodate different customer needs and preferences.

Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills to address customer inquiries, provide solutions, and overcome potential objections.

practices, product knowledge, and sales techniques through ongoing training and development.

Reliable Transportation: Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation for customer visits and on-site assessments.

Educational Background: A degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory, with relevant work experience considered.

Professional Appearance: Presentable appearance and demeanor to represent the company professionally during customer interactions and industry events.

Candidates meeting these prerequisites will be well-positioned to excel in the role of Sales Representative for Window Man.

Quantifiable Metrics:

Sales Targets: Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets by a specified percentage.

Conversion Rates: Maintain an acceptable conversion rate from leads to closed sales.

Revenue Generation: Generate the minimum amount in monthly revenue through effective sales strategies.

Customer Acquisition: Acquire a minimum number of customers per month as set by the sales manager.

Average Deal Size: Maintain an average deal size per sale as set by the sales manager.

Lead Response Time: Respond to incoming leads within 24 hours to maximize lead conversion rates.

Customer Satisfaction Ratings: Achieve a customer satisfaction rating of 99% or higher.

Follow-Up Activities: Complete follow-up activities within the customer management system per weak to nurture leads and close deals.

Training and Development: Successfully complete training and development annually to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.

Customer Retention: Achieve high customer retention by effectively managing post-sale communication and addressing customer concerns.
