Mainestream Media, LLC owns and operates Hot Radio Maine, an award-winning radio station with a statewide reach covering nearly 70% of Maine's population and the seacoast of New Hampshire. Hot Radio Maine is heard on 104.7 FM in Portland and southern Maine, on 100.3 FM in greater Lewiston/Auburn and 102.9 FM in greater Bangor/Brewer. Hot Radio Maine is the most streamed music station in Maine and New Hampshire with a sizable social footprint and recognizable brand.

In addition to broadcast radio, Hot Radio Maine creates and produces exclusive artist listener events and some of the most popular and successful concerts in the state. Our station and personalities are extremely active in our local communities and have given out tens of thousands of dollars to local Maine listeners as well as concert and sports tickets, prizes, free back to school haircuts for kids and thousands of turkeys at Thanksgiving.

This is a full-time role for a Sales Representative at Hot Radio Maine in Scarborough, ME. The Sales Representative will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with advertisers, meeting sales targets, and providing excellent customer service.

Qualifications:

-Sales, Advertising, and Customer Service skills

-Persuasive communication skills: verbal, written, and presentation

-Ability to plan and organize, set priorities, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment

-Ability to meet sales targets and deadlines

-Knowledge of the local market and radio industry

-Experience in sales or advertising

-Proven track record of successful sales performance

-Drive your own vehicle with a valid driver’s license and state-mandated auto insurance

-Stress tolerance, especially with tight deadlines and financial pressures

-Confidence to prospect and quickly build rapport with customers
