Growing Medical Device Manufacturer seeking a part-time Customer Care and Shipping Specialist.

Company: Privately held medical device company with great company culture seeing part-time support for its growing team.

Hours/Schedule: M-F, 1-5pm, on-site each day

Job Type: Direct hire

Location Requirements: On-site, Billerica, MA

Rate: $25/hour

Job Description: The Customer Care & Shipping Specialist is accountable to the Manager, Customer Care. In this role, the individual will supplement the Customer Care function and assist in shipping material to customers, employees, and sales agents. The individual is expected to communicate daily with customers and the field sales organization.

The ideal individual is passionate about customer satisfaction and has demonstrated success working in regulated environment while maintaining customer and field sales engagement. The incumbent also has a track record of driving improvements, simplification, and automation.

Responsibilities:

- Customer Care management

- Manage customer requests and orders

- Invoicing and credit memos

- Complaint handling

- Return goods authorizations

- Setting-up agreements, customers in the system

- Coordinate bookings such as hotel or car service for customer training

- Sales support

- Day-to-day communications with field organization

- On- and off-boarding activities

- Trunk stock management

- Order fulfillment (literature, demo equipment, etc.)

- Shipping

- Assist with shipping, including documentation, assembling material, etc.

- Assist with invoicing, as needed

- Coordinate with Operations team

Qualifications:

- 3+ years of sales administration, customer service experience

- 4-year degree in Business Administration, or other advanced degree desirable.

- QuickBooks Desktop experience essential, Manufacturing optional

- Excellent communication skills, particularly phone and email correspondence

- Microsoft Office Suite, with particular emphasis on Excel

- Medical device sector experience desirable

- Experience in a start-up/growth stage environment preferable

- Inventory management experience desirable
