Software Engineer

Description:This will be working at the company within their IIOT Quality and Traceability area. They are working on developing a quality application to replace legacy applications for the plant floor systems. This person will be doing mostly new development with Java, Spring Boot, Angular, Microservices and Kubernetes. You will collaborate with engineers, PDO Enablement teams, and cross functional teams to deliver products and features. You will be responsible for the development and ongoing maintenance of products in the quality manufacturing space using agile, test-driven development principles. They are looking for a candidate who has strong backend development experience and can work with API's and Databases. The system is receiving and publishing a lot of data so they are looking for someone who has knowledge of data modeling to expose data and write API's and microservices to ensure it's set up correctly.Skills Required: Demonstrated knowledge in one or more: Test-Driven Development, Paired Programming, Craftsmanship, Extreme Programming Demonstrated knowledge in one or more: SpringBoot, Java, JavaScript, Jenkins, Google Cloud Platform, MongoDBExperience Required: Respect and empathy for team members, business partner and product customer Effective communication skills Practitioner in 2 coding languages or advanced practitioner in 1 coding Language Comfort level developing in all tiers of application software: front-end, mobile, back-end and database Advanced knowledge of software design patterns Knowledge and practical experience of agile delivery Demonstrated ability to deliver product roadmap milestonesEducation Required:Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience in a relevant fieldSkills:Java, Agile, angular, springboot, api, pair programmingTop Skills Details:Java,Agile,angular,springboot,apiAdditional Skills & Qualifications:This is a Full stack software development position.
