Job Title:Sr Project Manager Job Type: Contract (6 months) Years of experience: 10-12 years plus Skills:Project Management, Release Management, Application Management The ideal Sr. PM candidate has the following experience or skills: The ability to effectively communicate with a variety of stakeholders from both business and technology Experience managing deliverables for third party vendors Experience with Stop Loss or Payor Financial OperationsPOSITION OVERVIEWThe Sr. Project Manager will be expected to meet or exceed both business and information technology stakeholders needs and expectations while balancing competing demands among requirements/scope, time and budget. This expectation will require the management and prioritization of the project deliverables and tasks. The Sr. Project Manager will work with their corresponding IT project managers to successfully deliver projects. They will also work with the business stakeholders to identify and prioritize scope items.The Sr. Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring delivery timelines and budget are well maintained. This role will also be responsible for acting as a facilitator and buffer between any external or internal influences. Core responsibilities of the Project Manager position include (but not limited to): Remove barriers and help the team drive to timely delivery Create and maintain a project plan that outlines the highest business priority and value Mitigates risk and resolve issues that may impact project scope items Promote continuous improvement with efficient and effective delivery Draft and present status reports to various levels of leadership Proactively manages changes in scope and requirements and follows set change management processes Ensure timely completion of tasksESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS: Education Level: Bachelor's Degree Years of experience required: 5+ years Preferred: Project Management Professional CertificationSpecific types of experience required: Experience in Medicare and Commercial Health Insurance Claims Recovery & Data Member and provider benefits Experience in multiple environments, such as waterfall and agile methodologies Demonstrates leadership and energy to bring teams together to deliver quality results Builds strong relationships, willing to be flexible, provides timely responses and has strong communication skills Experience concurrently managing multiple large projects Supports changes, and team player.
