Join a small firewood supplier company as a Firewood Processor Technician.
Key Responsibilities:
-Operate firewood processors, including chainsaws, splitters, and conveyors. And at times, a sawmill
-Sort, cut, and split logs into market-ready firewood according to size specifications.
-Monitor equipment performance and perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting.
-Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area and yard.
-Follow safety protocols and use PPE at all times.
-Assist with inventory and material movement as needed.
-Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Qualifications:
-Experience operating firewood processors, sawmills, skid steers, and SKYTRAC is preferred. Will train if necessary.
-Basic mechanical knowledge
-Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor.
-Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
-Driver's license and reliable transportation required
Compensation:
-$18 plus per hour, depending on experience
-Full-time
