Advanced Field Service Engineer Advanced Field Service Engineer for Honeywell International, Inc. (St. Louis, MO)RESPONSIBILITIES: Programming configuration on the Honeywell’s proprietary Distribution Control System (DCS) known as Experion PKS, participate in program configuration on the Honeywell’s proprietary process safety system known as Safety Manager.

Process control system configuration, process control loops (singular and complex/cascaded control loops),

Batch/Sequential process controls SCMs and continuous process controls.

Preparing operator HMI graphic screens programed from new designs, along with edits and changes to existing operator graphics.

Providing technical leadership for Honeywell DCS (Experion PKS) and process safety systems (Safety Manager) projects.

Deliver control system solution to customer and oversee start up and systems commissioning.

Work with Honeywell engineers who are performing process controls configuration programming.

Act as an liaise between the client and Honeywell personnel.

Development of HPS projects, assignments of HPS team resources to various projects, and project status reviews with the respective client and HPS personnel.

Full term of experience must include: industrial distributed process control systems in one or more of the following markets: Refining, Power Generation, Life Sciences, Chemicals, or DOD/FDA regulated industry; Honeywell DCS control systems experience, including Experion PKS®; leading multiple process automation projects; Design / engineering / site support experience for DCS, ESD, PLC and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems; reading and interpreting project design inputs, including Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), Cause and Effect diagram, Data sheets, Loop Diagrams, Control Narratives, Logic Diagrams; leading teams to design and implement customized complex engineering solutions; and with project management, resources assignments, man-power planning, project reviews, estimating and project reports. Experience working with Microsoft platforms, including Windows server/clients; industry standard programming language Visual Basic scripting and HMI graphics; and with SmartPlant Instrumentation (INTools) / AVEVA Instrumentation is required.
