This position is in the Employee Experience and Communications department, which is a part of Human Resources. The department’s role is to provide exceptional service to our employees, communicate all pertinent internal communications to employees in a creative and effective manner, and develop employee events that reward exceptional employees, promote our company’s values and initiatives, and/or elevate the work environment.The Employee Communications Coordinator serves as administrative support to our employee communications team and is responsible for distribution and tracking of all employee communications.
Job Responsibilities include:Auditing and posting content on the WIRE, our employee intranet siteDistribution and auditing of Wynn’s property-wide daily pre-shift messaging, called WE ShiftVetting, tracking, and maintenance of Wynn’s storytelling program, called WE StoriesScheduling all department photo and video shootsTracking all department project requestsOrdering and tracking department office suppliesMaintaining department budget logAssisting at Staff Services Center and with employee events as neededInterviewing employees to develop and publish stories that represent and celebrate Wynn’s Core Values, Behaviors, and ActionsWriting, posting/formatting, and managing calendars for all “day-to-day” internal company communications, to include all content for Today at Wynn | Encore, WIRE news and alerts, the employee app and social media channels, display copy, standard company memos, surveys, and company policy acknowledgementsUpkeep of WIRE/employee app kiosks and corresponding printers
Understanding our company culture, standards, and values and ensuring all communications positively, accurately, and clearly reflect these initiatives.Reporting to, maintaining open communications with, and collaborating with the Employee Experience & Communications Assistant Director.Intermediate knowledge of Adobe Dreamweaver is preferred, but not requiredFamiliarity with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus, with emphasis on Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Acrobat.Proficiency in HTML and CSS is preferred, but not requiredPrior corporate writing experience is preferred, but not requiredPrior experience interviewing and writing feature articles preferred, but not required
