Having issue with a used truck sale, contracted with a lawyer who's firm is based in CA. I said I needed someone that could take my case to court if need be, and one clause in the contract is this:
1. Purpose
Consultant will research facts, analyze legal theories, and prepare a draft civil complaint
asserting potential claims for fraud, misrepresentation, concealment, and related causes of
action regarding Client’s vehicle purchase with the guidance of the client who has been pro se.
Filing, service, and litigation past pre litigation documentation will be passed on by a carefully
vetted and handled by Venture Plans’ local counsel
Except they have no local counsel. The one local lawyer they reached out to said he couldn't do it. Does this sound like a breach of contract?
