The position is in Carson City or Las Vegas, Nevada. It is supervised by a Program Officer II. The Program Officer I administers a program or major component of a program by planning, coordinating, and managing services and activities in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements and established program performance standards and objectives. Incumbents will work with the entire Division and implement services that support the SPWD Capital Improvement Program approved every legislative session. Incumbents will recommend and implement changes to procedures, program performance standards and objectives for providing services, and eligibility requirements as permitted by program regulations and guidelines. The position will be multi-faceted and could include contract document processing, purchase orders, prevailing wage documents, bidder qualifications, financial statement review/manipulation and other task in a timely manner and ensure they are properly processed.
