About the roleWe’re looking for an experienced and hands-on Production Manager to lead our manufacturing operations. This role is pivotal in driving performance, leading teams, and optimising production processes to meet business goals. This is a permanent full-time hands-on role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday at 7:30 am to 4:00pm.What You’ll Be DoingOversee the smooth and efficient operation of production machinery, ensuring compliance with safety codes and maintenance standardsLead and motivate production teams, managing staffing, performance, training, and succession planningIdentify and implement process improvements to boost productivity, reduce downtime, and enhance efficiencyConduct regular quality checks, resolve production issues promptly, and ensure adherence to manufacturing standardsCollaborate with scheduling and planning teams to meet production targets and optimise workflowMonitor plant performance and energy usage, using data to drive operational improvementsLead prototype builds, gather feedback, and apply learnings to improve future production runsSupport the planning, procurement, and commissioning of new machinery and automation technologiesMaintain accurate production data and standard operating times within the ERP system (Epicor)Promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility, ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and procedures
